Metropolitan Pavilion is wired throughout for high-speed and
wireless Internet access. We we have 40 mbs of
bandwidth,
the equivalent 25 T1-'s, and our WiFi system
handles
up to
1000 people concurently. Our
substantial
system redundancy
is hard
if not impossible to
find in any
other
New York City
venue our size.
In addition to LAN connections we have a sophisticated wireless
infrastructure complete with splash pages, authentication, and
multiple high-end access points. Our media services include
webcasting from a Local Network Operations Center.
