Working with some of the best catering companies in New York City, we will carefully craft a menu tailored to your specific event. Whether it’s for a breakfast meeting or a cocktail reception, an exhibitors’ café or a gala dinner, we can handle your catering needs including staffing. We know that your event’s culinary dimension is important. Let our Events & Production Services team assist you. Whether it’s stage fabrication, set design, specialty staffing, flower and centerpiece design, or something new and untried, we are prepared to meet the creative challenge with our Events & Production Services.
We can source and set-up any event furniture and rental items your event calls for—tables, chairs, lounge furniture, Chinaware, serving pieces, and more. This includes sourcing and setting up specialty items like display cases and props to fit your event theme or help make your event memorable.
Our creative rental options extend to draping and linens as well. We offer a wide selection of fabrics and colors to suit your needs. Furniture and rental services are provided by our in-house rental department as well as using our partners Drape Kings, Party Rental Ltd., Taylor Creative, Inc., and others. WorldStage—the ultimate resource for event engineering, technology and imagination—is the exclusive A/V, sound, and lighting provider for both Metropolitan Pavilion and Metropolitan West. Through this dynamic relationship between vendor and venues, clients are offered a built-in A/V and lighting infrastructure at both Metropolitan Pavilion and Metropolitan West that can be enhanced to meet any event’s needs—moving lights, video displays, LED walls, wireless audio equipment and more.

Representing nearly 50 years of NYC experience between vendor and venue combined, WorldStage and Metropolitan bring together an extensive sound, lighting, and A/V inventory with an adaptable and flexible destination location to address the needs of hundreds of special event clients each year.
Rainbow Broadband provides high-speed WiFi Internet access using the latest 802.11n technology at both Metropolitan Pavilion and Metropolitan West. Rainbow’s state of the art access points can service hundreds of portable devices simultaneously with multi-megabit speeds.
At the core of the network is a fiber distribution system with GigE switches providing services to each event room.
The network supports dedicated line drops, local area networks, and streaming video with HDTV quality. Multiple Tier-1 carriers provide Internet service over a local connection capable of speeds up to 1000/1000Mbps at Metropolitan Pavilion and 300/300Mbps at Metropolitan West.
